I recall in years past, unrelated to any talk of sexual abuse, there was lots of talk of how many child stars had messed up.lives as adults.

Just noting that she was a child star who stayed in the entertainment business as an adult. And wonder what her upbringing was like.

As to Jodie Foster's assertions that this is happening in all industries...I'm a woman who has worked on Wall Street in New York and Los Angeles for over 25 years. I've never been sexually harassed, never harassed anyone, and believe 90% of the men I work with have never harassed anyone. Most people at all levels just do their jobs and go home. Even if you want to believe I am willfully blind, you can assume that, say, 75% of the men I work with have never harassed anyone, since I would have seen something, heard something, and the men I work with would have been fired or sued.
