Luke was also over in Tombstone. Its amazing why he gets left out of all the stories and movies. When Wyatt Earp went back to Dodge City with Masterson and all the others in their old group threatening bloodshed against the Mayor, it was all over unfair treatment to Luke Short who was also a saloon owner like the Mayor.
He was actually a better dresser than Masterson who he somewhat emulated.

Note DeForest Kelley (as Morgan Earp, IIRC) in that old movie promo pic, on the far right. Probably the only actor to have appeared on both sides of the O.K. Corral gunfight, sort of.
