The experience of being an outsider is central to the poetry of Audre Lorde. So it’s curious that Lorde, who died in 1992, has posthumously become the ultimate insider on American campuses, providing an ideological foundation for today’s social-justice warriors.

More fundamentally, higher education is obsessed with “intersectionality.” Lorde didn’t invent the idea, but her adherents believe she embodies it. The theory supposes that different forms of discrimination act together to compound oppression. Lorde, who was black and lesbian, claimed to write from the perspective of “those of us who have been forged in the crucibles of difference—those of us who are poor, who are lesbians, who are Black, who are older.” She described America as “a country where racism, sexism and homophobia are inseparable.”
In this hostile environment, she wrote, “your silence will not protect you.” For the multiply marginalized, she added, “survival is not an academic skill. It is learning how to stand alone, unpopular and sometimes reviled, and how to make common cause with those others identified as outside the structures in order to define and seek a world in which we can all flourish. It is learning how to take our differences and make them strengths. For the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house.”

I was thinking the other day, “How many students today go to college just to be social justice warriors?” And, could there be any more worthless endeavor?
Who in our society serves Satan better than the entertainment industry and their related hacks in media? What better way to earn their praise than being a SJW?

The problem with the "Intersectional Feminists" and Lorde acolytes is that colleges are not churning out productive graduates into the society and these people are actually PROUD of their unreasoning.
Where would these people go and what would they do? Entering into real world only to find others do not care about their feelings only frustrate and enrage them even more so.

This is at the root of much of the insanity, stupidity, and unhappiness we see in society today.
Men and women are so different in so many respects, not just biologically, but intellectually and emotionally as well, that if aliens came to earth they might well see us as different species.
This is not to say men are "better" than women, or women are "superior" to men, because each sex has their strengths and weaknesses. It is the one of the wonderful things about men and women, that we compliment each other so well. It encourages union and propagation of the species, and is meant to do just that. Together, the union of men and women make an entity far more powerful and emotionally satisfying than either of them can achieve separately.
Worse, to adopt this view that the sexes are biologically equal, one has to discount the power of sexual urges and attractions, which are perhaps two of the most powerful driving forces in nature. It is INSANITY to discount those, and damages both men and women and fills us with a cognizant dissonance when we try to pretend it isn't so.
Pretty much identifies the academic studies those students are NOT pursuing.
Try rejecting logic in any STEM course and you’ll get Ds and Fs like Gore and the rest of those mental midgets.
But, you’ll get As in far too many academic departments which really should be located next to the massage parlors and tattoo joints in your local bad part of town.
In order to reason, you have to start with the principle of contradiction. Something cannot BE and NOT BE at the same time. There is no middle ground between BEING and NOT BEING.
Same as the binary used in computing. It’s either ON or OFF. There is nothing except ON and OFF.
This is not taught in colleges or schools. Most people have no clue what the hell this is about. Marxists readily accept two contradictory thoughts in their minds at the same time.
If someone does not accept this principle, he is incapable of reasoning. It is impossible for that person to talk rationally with someone who accepts that principle.
This explains why we can’t even hope to understand liberals.
The liberal mindset is magical thinking—if they believe X then it is true.
If you don’t believe X you are a hater.
They are easy to understand. :-)

Few people realized the severity of the disease that had spread from Europe to infect the USA.
Few people recognized the counter-culture movement as the explosion of Western decadence in America.
Few could foresee the rejection of truth, reason, morality, and the American Dream in favor of self-indulgence.
Some recognized it as the self-indulgence of the spoiled, over-indulged children of the men who stormed the beaches of Normandy, walked directly into machine-gun fire, liberated Dachau and Auschwitz, raised the flag on Iwo Jima, and destroyed the evil Nazi and Imperial Japanese war machines.

In the 1960s, the spoiled brats of our greatest generation sashayed onto the well polished dance floor, in their oh-so luxurious velvet slippers, chanting "Sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll" and "if it feels good, do it." They have now squandered America's vast wealth, which was not merely material treasure but also the great hope of the world, in their self-indulgent descent into cultural and moral decay.
Some recognized the spoiled brats for what they were: the typical "third generation" of shirt-sleeves-to-shirt-sleeves, lolling in the luxuries that the sacrifices of previous generations had afforded them as they ridiculed those very sacrifices and those who had made them.
But few people could imagine the depth of the decadence and where it would take America.
Few could imagine that the decadence would prove more deadly to America--and Europe--than all the plagues, famines, wars, and tyrannies that had plagued Western Civilization throughout history
Few could imagine what would happen when those brats seized control of America, with their contempt for truth, reason, morality, the American Dream, and everything that made the USA the greatest, wealthiest, most just nation the world has ever known.
Now we know.
