There are many pieces of Islamic terrorist that play off each other. There’s the majors like the Taliban, or Al Qaeda, Hamas, groups in the spotlight. If you take out one, the other rears its head. But they are just a small piece of it.
The Department of State recognizes 63 domestic foreign terrorist organizations that are an active threat to Americans right now. There are 13 more that have been removed from their list since 1999 that are just in hiding.
Foreign governments recognize over 200 active groups world wide in varies countries and multi countries. The idea of a complete collapse of the Islamic state is not a reality. George Bush was right when he said it would be a long battle. Most likely until man no longer walks on the surface.

Unfortunately, this isn’t an event like the American Civil War where the government fell and General Lee surrendered instead of allowing an insurgency movement. The ISIS fighters will go home or somewhere else and continue killing but on a smaller scale. This is a modern war with no governmental focus or physical power base. Their power base is the internet and social media. They can reach worldwide. They are crowd funded. Anybody can download instructions and play in their own back yard. The Western world has allowed themselves to import this insanity. The US should stop all Muslims from coming into the country and repatriate all those who are here and can be sent home. Allowing them to be citizens greatly complicates the terror issue and limits what can be done about getting rid of it. Our Muslim neighbors are good and safe to have around until they aren’t good or safe. Your warning that they have “flipped” will be when they kill you.
