From the rising crime rate to the third world street conditions to the flooding woes, New Orleans is generating the worst kind of national publicity
For months, the liberal news media has been championing New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu as a potential Democratic presidential candidate in 2020.
Landrieu was praised for his “courageous leadership” in taking down four Confederate monuments in New Orleans earlier this year. Never mind that it was an issue manufactured by Landrieu to create racial division and publicity. In the end, the monument removal cost $2.1 million dollars, precious funds that were needed elsewhere.
If that $2.1 million had been used to install backup power ....
Purging history is much too important to let the costs be an impediment !
The Landrieu's are the poster faces for the failed Democrat agenda.
Mayor Mitch's sister, Mary, lost her Senate reelection b/c she blathered about her "stupid conservative constituency" and that she had to "talk down to them" ....b/c they didn't understand her "liberal brilliance" in DC.
Landrieu should have spent more time taking care of his city and less time knocking down hundred year old statues...

...”better than anything I’ve heard or read in a long time. It was the masterpiece we needed at the moment we needed it, and I fear that it was lost in the brutal whirl of news these days. It shouldn’t be.
I’m referring to remarks by that city’s Democratic mayor, Mitch Landrieu, upon his removal of the last of several bitterly contested Confederate monuments there.
How is anyone supposed to maintain civilization in a “chocolate city?”
None of this statue removal would have happened if Obama had not been President. This offensive cr** is just that....cr**.

New Orleans wishes they had a drain!
Democrats keep searching for their “ideal candidate”, and they keep throwing all kinds of names out there, and once one looks at their history and credentials closely, one gets the feeling that the democrats best hope is still Hillary Clinton, yet, she was/is a total disaster.
If the democratic party were to be a person, he/she would have to conclude that, “it’s not our candidates, it’s me!”.
The one guy who would scare me, is Bloomberg.
But he’s too centrist for today’s Democratic Party.
Wait! Mitch deserves some credit. It is my understanding that Mitch stored the monuments in such a safe place that none of them got wet during the flooding.
It is so sad that he no longer is a presidential contender because if elected, he could have spent eight good years removing Confederate monuments at Civil War battlefields such as Vicksburg.
