[[[ And it will be the very first total solar eclipse that is only visible in this country since the United States first became a nation. ]
That certainly is freaky. Im surprised it didnt happen during the reign of The Manchurian Candidate. Still, its within a year of it ending.]]
It didn’t happen during that time because it wasn’t God’s timing yet .
This 40 day period is the month of Elul , the trumpet is blown every day for those 40 days .
(Psalms 27:1) A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
(Psalms 27:2) When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
(Psalms 27:3) Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
(Psalms 27:4) One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
(Psalms 27:5) For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Hmmm -— not that I particularly lean towards dates but now I looked for Elul 29(is it?).
September 20 in Israel with Tishri 1 the 21st.
For whatever that is worth.
[Probably near the old Whirlpool Galaxy...]
Could be the Ford Galaxy.
Though I preferred them with a 428. Some of the convertibles were really cool.
I tell folks I love people but just can't stand too many for too long or at one time. Most haven't a clue.
Happy biking - I used to run long distances on trails but as age kicks in (along with a hip replacement from all the running), I like secluded walks.
Yes, I understand completely. I don’t get lonely. I don’t dislike most people but I’m comfortable with my own company. I have my dogs and my bikes and enjoy time alone or with them. I don’t run either. At 62 my knees are still good and I want to keep them that way. Running makes my back hurt. I walk and ride the bike. You should think about cycling. Mountain biking is nice because you don’t have to fight traffic, etc. and mountain bikers are normally friendly, nature loving people, not snobs. It’s peaceful and very easy on the joints. There are trails like my local trail that are off-road gravel nature trails though the woods but aren’t difficult. When I ride that one I see a few other riders and most are my age or older. It’s almost 10 miles round trip and very relaxing. Cycling trails are popping up everywhere. Our is a local train track that was turned into a cycling trail. Think about it!
