The Boy Scouts official Facebook page was flooded with angry comments from parents and former scouts who called Monday’s speech by President Trump “unbelievably tacky and disrespectful.”
“A statement from the [Boy Scouts of America] denouncing this speech and the conduct of the crowd booing a former president needs to be forth coming immediately,” Robin Tilson wrote.
“Everything that the BSA stands for was discredited today by this speech and the reaction from many attendees.”
Trump made a surprisingly political speech to the gathering of 40,000 young men at the 2017 National Boy Scout Jamboree. The president slammed the media and his Democratic opponents — at one point eliciting boos for President Obama.
At the event in West Virginia, the huge crowd enthusiastically cheered Trump and even got a chant going that said “we love Trump.”
“As of this moment, still awaiting a statement denouncing the President’s speech, and his attempt to turn the BSA into the Trump Youth,” said Colorado resident Thomas Bailey, who said he was an Eagle Scout.
Erin Callahan Olander, the mother of an Eagle Scout, joined others in calling the speech “horrendous” and asking for an apology to their children.
“I was horrified that trump would address the scouts at jamboree with inappropriate stories and booing–booing!–a past president,” she wrote.....

In other words, the attendees agreed with what President Trump had to say. And, the leftists, who have been ragging on scouts for years, are upset.

You know, I had boy scouts and had supported them for years until Gates brought about the changes in gay adult leaders, etc...
I was so happy to see the BSA Jamboree reaction to Trump and thought I could once again support the BSA.

It’s kind of funny, but the Scouts themselves loved Trump. Does anyone think they were pressured into cheering so enthusiastically? Me neither. MAGA is a core value of the Boy Scouts. If you’re against MAGA then you’re against the Boy Scouts.
And on top of that they booed an American hating traitor. What can be more in line with Boy Scout values than that?
The Obama Administration spent 8 years pushing homosexuals and whatnot on the Boy Scouts ... it is part of how we know, or at least strongly suspect, they were cultural Marxist flirting with the Muslim Brotherhood for effect rather than the Muslim Brotherhood flirting with cultural Marxist for effect.

Trump’s speech was disrespectful - to the left, not to the Boy Scouts. As usual, the left pretends to be speaking on behalf of those for whom they have utter contempt.

Yuo are simply witnessing a natural reaction to his name because he subjected this country to hateful divisive rhetoric for 8 long years- He was a divider, not a uniter- He earned the boos mrs Erin

Newsweak just called the Boy Scouts the Hitler Youth, so you might get the idea that there’s a little animosity involved here. Certainly the Boy Scouts were respectful on every occasion when 0bama spoke to them. Which was none.
I guess we know what it takes to get some folks' panties in a was.
Becoming the Gay Scouts...meh. But becoming Trump youth...unacceptable!
