1. This makes women seem more vulnerable/weak/sick than men, undermining feminism’s “women are equal or better”. You can be pretty much equal or catered to snowflakes in need of coddling, pick one.
This isn’t a sexist statement, since I’m a woman.
2. This will lead to employers continuing to bias toward hiring older women versus younger ones who may need maternity leave and now this type of leave. Obamacare already incentivized hiring someone old enough to rely on Medicare.
