Last night on MSNBC each show had on Democrat ‘legal experts’ making the case that the Trump campaign just admitted to breaking federal law.
Brian Williams pointed out on his show (as did Britt Hume did on FNC ) that there is no law against ‘collusion’, before getting the following ‘legal’ opinions:
That the Trump campaign committed conspiracy to commit a crime which is a crime itself.
That the crime they committed conspiracy to commit was to violate of campaign finance law.
That they made an attempt to get a foreign campaign contribution from the foreign state Russia.
What was the (potential) campaign contribution from Russia to the Trump campaign?
It was negative information about Hillary Clinton.
Yep, that Don JR’s willingness to receive information negative on Hillary, maybe even evidence that she committed crimes, was itself a crime. (How about positive info?)
Lastly they say it was a crime even if Don JR never got that information from this Russian women.
That just talking to a foreign national about Hillary was a crime: conspiracy.

Yes, I was listening to a guy say that Jr was talking to “the Russians”. No. I was talking to people that happen to be russian. They were not “the” Russians.
The whole thing is actually comical. No laws were broken, nothing unethical was done. But since someone was Russian, it’s news. Russians are allowed to talk to americans and americans are allowed to talk to russians.
And then there is the first amendment. You know, the free speech thing.
If ever there was a “no there, there” issue, this is it.

This is the case they are making, and that Don Jr's admissions and emails convict him(and the whole Trump 2016 campaign) of conspiracy to find out more about Hillary's sleazy and possible illegal dealings.
McCain and Graham seem pretty upset about it.
Joe Scarbouro just quit the GOP over it.
