BO’B was chewing Nicorette Gum because he’s a Chain Smoker and couldn’t go without one for an hour. That’s the reason Malia said “Daddy smells funny”.
Nicorette or not, still gum. Punks, it’s only logical they would chose gum over patches. Patches lend no weight to the image they choose to present. Gum?... now that makes for one tough punk.
PS - the nicotine substitute never seemed to help him. Bet you a dollar to a doughnut he still sneaks a few puffs in privacy.
As to the smell ....not just his daughters commented on how awful the aroma. James Rosen (traveling on the same plane during the campaign) said the same. IT STINKS. Both d’rat candidates seemed to project smelly problems. Someone with a good nose should check out Bernie.

I’m surprised actually they didn’t try to make some perverse connection of Trump and the 3 young ladies. You can bet though, as you said, there would be a shit storm if it was ever shown he had slept, as President, with anyone.
I agree, and my wife just absolutely hates it. Gum is banned from our home for our children. (it gets everywhere, a few times in their hair). I found the girls a little annoying but I don’t think they were totally aware the camera was on them prior to the POTUS speaking. Annoying but absolute foxes.
I’m just going to have two scoops and smile.
