Are you planning to go to the Rio Olympics?
Probably not, since I’ll be over 100 by the next time they host one.
I thought Currywurst was the big thing in Berlin.
Café de Coral in Hong Kong should be on this list.
Mmmmh tomato-pork-chop rice.
Al Bak chicken from, of all places, KSA. The fried chicken is da bomb, along with the jumbo prawns, with a side of fried with garlic dipping sauce.
That is true but I am a mustard guy (on Bratwurst).
I get a kick out of seeing American pop culture in general being given the funhouse mirror treatment and sent back to us, especially from Japan. I’d love to try some of these places.
Tim Horton’s isn’t faring well in Michigan. In my town, more than half of them have closed down.
I really liked their bagel breakfast sandwiches, but too often, they couldn’t provide what I wanted: a multi-grain bagel, with egg, bacon, tomato and cheese. Sometimes, they wouldn’t have that particular bagel, other times they wouldn’t have tomato. More than a year ago, my local store was shut down for “upgrades” and has yet to re-open. Same with the second-closest store....
I live in Spain and there is a Telepizza as well as numerous Doner Kebab shops in my town. I haven’t been to any of them. There is also a McDonalds. Why waste your time with fast food when there are so many amazing Tapas bars that include your food with the price of a drink?
Pollo Hermanos?
Nando’s is here in the US now. It’s great!
I hear that there will be some specialty shops worth trying.
Rumor has it they are going to test market "Algae Bloom Wraps"
for the Vegan crowd at the swimming venue.
9. Doner Kebab
I hadn’t even read your responses before I chimed in with the same. That’s three of us here on this thread who vote for Doner Kebab. I once had a long discussion with a friend about trying to start a franchise here in the states. Those of us who have lived in Europe or who are in Europe know it would be a hit here.
The over the top spoiled rich kidness of the author is just to much for this calloused handed, blue collared redneck.
She’s catering to the kids who feel they are entitled to our leadership.
