One of my high school classmates used to manage the Polaris Snow Mobile factory in Thief River Falls. I spent some time there too, playing hockey. There wasn't much else to do there in the winter. 🤗

I buy from Digi-Key, though Mouser is my main supplier.

Great company. I have bought from them since their entire catalog was a 1/2 page ad in the back of Popular Electronics magazine. Now, they are the largest supplier of electronic parts in the world.

I used to recruit power plant and wood mill engineers. You guys are a different breed.

I know there's a joke in there somewhere...
"I used to run recruiters like you through the wood chipper"
no, that doesn't work...

Don’t let Marge Gunderson hear you say that.

It’s always fun to spend a morning deciding which of 369,286 SPDT switches you want :)
As long as Digi-Key and McMaster exist, America cannot fall.
To: Does so
...to pass an important legislative solution to help Digi-Key.Since no details on the legislation are given, I'm thinking bribery.

As long as Digi-Key and McMaster exist, America cannot fall. Yeah, somebody has to catalog all 369,286 Chinese made SPDT switches.

Yes, and the majority of the components they sell are imports. Therefore, they should not be praised.

You’re welcome to start up an electronic parts factory right here in the USA, to compete with the Chi-coms. I’m sure Digi-Key would be happy to add your products to their catalog.

You forgot about the winter activity of building a fire and standing around it while slowly rotating to evenly warm yourself while getting completely hammered.

I just bought 10 2N3771 transistors. Please tell me which US company manufactures them here and who carries them.

Good idea! Maybe all I’d need is a big fat gov’t subsidy!

It would seem that your dispute is with the government, yet you vent your spleen at Digi-Key. Perhaps you should consider your position more carefully.
