God forbid any citizen swear a loyalty oath to the President or any other person. Let us pledge only allegiance to our God and a Constitution that's in concert with God's word.
Comey made an admission of guilt. He leaked classified info to third parties. All was intended for the newspapers and political purposes. As FBI Director he can not be allowed to flaunt this matter. He should be charged and held without bail.

In general the material in the memos was unclassified. But I do remember seeing a report that one of them was classified. Probabably BS but who knows.
In any case, he can be prosecuted for leaking the material even if it was unclassified. (As I understand it.)

Comey thinks he should be loyal to the law. That’s very old fashioned thinking. Trump squared him away on that notion.
I’m with you 100%. Sarcasm slips out of me when people put a man and his vanity above the institutions that made our country great. I love and respect America and am at my whits end with those who prefer a cult of personality to a proven successful constitution.
How about lying to Congress. He said that he had never been ordered to back off an investigation but he just testified Lynch had done just that.

The leaks of this privileged information began no later than March 2017 when friends of Mr. Comey have stated he disclosed to them the conversations he had with the President during their January 27, 2017 dinner and February 14, 2017 White House meeting.
Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he leaked to friends his purported memos of these privileged conversations, one of which he testified was classified.
He also testified that immediately after he was terminated he authorized his friends to leak the contents of these memos to the press in order to “prompt the appointment of a special counsel.”
