Apparently the first amendment protects your right to publish classified information. You just can’t leak it. So that’s why Snowden is wanted by Wikileaks isn’t? That is why Reality Winner is being charged but The intercept is not. That is why xxx xxx will be charged in the future, but Michael Moore will not.
It seems strange to me but it makes sense on some level. This is a double edged sword. I (re)watched part of All the President’s Men recently. While you can respect the press for the desire to expose corruption (all though it’s usually just focused on one political party), it is much harder to respect someone who exposes state secrets and compromises national security, against an oath they took, even if they think they are acting as a whistle blower. Most times, making a value judgement on information is subjective, and rarely is there any clear cut justification for a leak. People need to be prosecuted vigorously for leaks.
It still just seems a little creepy that you can publish it.

the really sad thing is that a group of former Navy SEALs hire themselves out to serve as bodyguards for Moore . This is unconscionable . Former Teams members should identify these dudes and shame them into leaving Moore’s employ . What the hell do they thing they are doing ? Earning and livlihood can be found in other ways , NOT in supporting a POS like Moore .
