I had that playing on the MP3 player during one of the worst motor vehicle accidents I have ever had.

Still love the song.

I would like very much to ride that train and eat that food as the countryside passes me by.

They don’t have babies, though.

Who’s going to ride the train?

I don’t think TV of the ‘60s and ‘70s would have been possible without Edward Andrews.

If I paid $4450 and someone presented that “meal” to me, death would be the sentence...

Looks like they hired Michelle Obama as dietary expert

"Eat your damn sushi!"

Isn’t it interesting how liberals use comparisons to Japan to get us to invest in their pork barrel infrastructure projects, when all the trains in Japan are privately-owned (at least the most technologically advanced ones are).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinkansen

https://www.citylab.com/transportation/2011/10/why-tokyos-privately-owned-rail-systems-work-so-well/389/

Japan can provide the best rail system in the world to the 35 million denizens of Tokyo with a private ownership system and yet the US government can’t even have a functioning transit system that runs on time in Boston: a city of only six hundred thousand.

Sad!

My sister and her husband are returning to Michigan after an extended train ride to San Francisco through northern states. Said it was a wonderful trip.

Sure, just charge $10,000 to go a few hundred miles.... I’m sure that everyone will pay that.
