Not good news at all out here in the oil patch. Companies were just starting to rehire employees and one-third of the New Mexico state budget relies on revenues from the oil-gas industry.

I know. Problem is, OPEC doesn’t want us to become energy independent, so they crank it up more with every drop we pump and the price drops. There is a battle going on to shut us down. It will mean lower prices for a while, and I know that hurts our guys, but it hurts Russia and the Middle East more. I’m hoping they cave in first.

I could easily agree to $40/bbl.
American innovation would still function.

Thanks for the tip. I have a couple of vehicles in storage where I keep the tank full to avoid water vapor ingress, but have yet to burn a tank a year.

I thought that T. Boone Pickens told us we would never see oil under $100 a barrel again and that we had to give all of our money to him and Pelosi for windmills.

Good.
Now how many months will it take for the drop to *work its way through the system*?
Unlike when oil prices burp a little and gas goes up 30 cents a gallon in half a day.
