“The press” referenced in the First Amendment is a machine, not a group of people. There is no special category of people called “the free press” mentioned there. Freedom of the press is for everybody, and the modern version of the press is the internet. And nobody is immune from criticism from anybody, so these ignorant cup cakes should get the heck over themselves.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Trump or any president attacking FakeNews.
But with power comes accountability. And there is something wrong with him attacking a free press.
The press has vast, almost unchecked power. But with power comes accountability. They are being called to account.
President Trump is not attacking freedom of the press; he is attacking a corrupt press that is free but wavering somewhere between deceptive and dishonest. President Trump is exactly right. If the press had any intellectual curiosity at all, they would ask themselves why everyone except democrats sees them as biased and corrupt.
But, it’s not a free press. It’s been bought and paid for by those such as the democratic party, Soros and other leftist. It doesn’t generally allow Conservatives in, so Conservatives are not “free” within the domain of the MSM. Most all of them say the same things, in exactly the same way, even down to the words they choose, so it is beyond obvious that they are in lock step, with marching orders from their controllers. No Conservative need apply.
The Ministry of Propaganda is not a “free press”.
