Lots of you have probably been putting garbage bags in buckets for this kind of thing (or just been using buckets, you savages), but why not add a little extra luxury for a few added dollars, and put a pool noodle seat on it? You can even hang the paper roll from the handle.
One thing I might add, if I were doing this– maybe consider reinforcing the pool noodle with some duct tape if you’re going to use it for more than one trip. You don’t need an unexpected bucket-butt meeting.

For those seeking a little more comfort, try cutting a hole on the seat of a stackable resin patio chair and place the bucket underneath. Of course, if you’re packing into the deep woods you may not want to bring along an item as bulky as the chair, but it’s a lightweight option for those who only want to sorta-rough it.

Nahhh - what you really need for that is two corn cobs, one dark & one light. First use the dark one and then the light one to make sure you got everything with the dark cob. If not, repeat as needed.

If you cut the bottom out of that bucket you’ve got a nice stool to sit on while you take care of business. Maybe that’s what he’s trying to say. Cuz if you’re in the woods, I can’t imagine you want to take the products of the exercise anywhere with you.

How about just sitting over a log, or squatting & covering with dirt. Then leaves, handkerchief or sock for cleaning up?

People have been using plastic buckets for thousands of years! This newfangled pool noodle idea will never catch on.
