Why should I care about an EX NFL player’s opinion.
We have been giving one of our grandkids a yearly subscription to SI for Kids.
His parents and he asked us not to renew the subscription.
I will let SI know why.
Two Christmases ago somebody gave me a subscription to SI. I don’t know who. It just started showing up in my mailbox. Each issue goes straight into the recycle bin. I hope it soon lapses.
Good call, Dave.
It’s a shame, because there are some fantasctic articles each week in the mag. But you have to weed through so much garbage.
“and he wont sign as a sure backup”
Really? Why? A guy who won exactly one game last year has a right to a starting position? The infinitely better Steve Young spent many years as a backup, waiting for his chance to shine.
For what? Being a jackass.
He could be a successful tattoo art consultant.
(Yes, I'm kidding. My observation is that he didn't think at all before he inked.)
Colin who?
Right. I think my article made pretty clear how idiotic his “brilliance and thoughtfulness” actually is.
Since there are two NFL teams that obviously have no quarterback (Houston and the Jets) they should each be forced to sign either Kaepernick or Cutler. What about Cleveland? They have the top draft pick. They’ll get a QB that way.
If he was a healthy guy who still had real talent, SOMEONE would still sign him.
We're talking the NFL here.
Some real POS's have played because they were GOOD.
Charles Manson would have been snapped up if he could actually win games.
Kaepernick was at one time pretty damn good.
His time has passed.
Adding in the mediocre player/insulting the fans aspect and you have a LOSER.
This isn't "racism" or oh, the fans are ignorant nonsense.
I cannot believe the stupidity of liberal sportswriters.
It's not personal, it's strictly business.
Kaepernick is poison at the box office.
And on the field .
Well said, boop.
It was his thoughtfulness and brilliance that lost him how many millions?
Liberal Sports Media Praise Colin Kaepernick’s Brilliance and Thoughtfulness
Liberal sports media has its head up its ass!
Same here with Time magazine a while back. Didn’t want it. Didn’t ask for it. Straight to the garbage.
He’ll sign with ESPN as an NFL Race Relations Advisor. :)
Jay Cutler will get signed before the guy who looks like he played sax in Kool And The Gang. Cutler has a proven track record as the best 8-8 quarterback in the NFL, while the other guy has been on some really terrible teams.
I notice they sure can’t praise his football prowess....
