YAY! WHO
Do you notice how many commercials on TV use Who tunes, there are a few, check it out.
I broke an FR rule and read the whole story also. At the end it said Daltry used profanity to say Trump needs to wash out his mouth and clean up his language.....and needs to get a haircut!!!
Funny as hell. God this is getting fun.
Why yes, of course.
Then again I would have been willing to vote for Flaming Sack Of It, too. Flaming Sack would have gotten pretty much all the Trump vote -- with perhaps even more Demo'Rat crossover.
Anything to keep the Clinton lying machine-thing out of power.
You forgot Charlie Daniels.
Candidate Hillary -
“It’s a put on”
My first rook concert was The Who. With all the original members.
I did indeed! He was more solid than anyone else. In a class of his own. Actually met him once with a friend briefly after a concert. He’s a first class man, just like one would imagine him to be.
Daltry is a regular guy. My friends played at the Freddie mercury concert and had a BBQ at his house. They took video of them playing Won’t get fooled again just sitting around. It looks like a bunch of guys in the back yard. But it’s bleeping Daltry singing!
According to the left, I think a dead dog DID beat Clinton.
Was it a good knight?
...was your next concert Queen?!?
Uhhh, I love The Who, but it will take more than that to get me to watch TV!
good shot
Tagable...
Democrats lost because Hillary was so unpopular a dead dog could have beaten her-Roger Daltrey
ha ha
I have an old GI entrenching tool that lives in the back yard to serve that purpose. 3 dogs.
Back to the subject at hand, I’ve been a huge Who fan for a long time. Saw Tommy as a first run movie 5-6 times when it came out, got an A on a high school term paper about it. Never saw them while Moon was still alive, but saw them twice in 80 or 81. I saw “Roger Daltry Sings The Who” (with Entwhistle) 20 or so years ago. Weirdest name for a tour ever, but it was great. You’d have loved that one. Outdoor amphitheater, it rained, and Roger came out to the edge of the stage awning, rips his shirt off as the rain is pouring off the awning on him, while belting out Love, Reign O’er Me. The women present were just swooning.
Saw Pete and Roger do their Who show/multimedia extravaganza 5 or so years ago. Before satellite radio, I would listen to all of Quadrophenia straight through on most long driving trips.
So yeah, I’m loving seeing Roger making statements like this.
Rock and roll ping.
While I like the Who, I’m really only familiar with their big hits, and of course, I’ve seen, ‘Tommy’ as many times as, ‘JC Superstar.’ I love musicals of all stripes.
That said, my favorite (which I can’t find on CD) is, ‘Best Bits’ which is all Daltrey. That’s the one I’d listen to (on cassette) for MY Road Trips back in the day. :)
Pete's got to be making more money now than he ever did in their heyday.
