During a Friday speaking event at Colgate University, former Vice President Joe Biden announced that he regretted his decision to not run for President during the 2016 election. He stated his prior plans to run for office and believes that he “could have won.” Biden elaborated, claiming that he was “the best qualified.” Is this his way of acknowledging how inane it was for Democrats to elect Hillary Clinton (one of the most loathed politicians in American history) as their nominee?
Apparently, Biden was seriously considering his bid for the Presidency, before the death of his son Beau Biden. When Beau passed away in 2015, Biden was plighted with grief and decided not to run for office. Beau’s death is tragic and he will surely be missed by many, but Biden’s decision not to seek the Presidency was the correct one. Americans have suffered dearly as a result of liberal policies; Biden would have continued Obama’s ‘legacy’ and failed principles of action.

Burning $50-$100 million of Democrat donor money is not all bad.
Perhaps that aging hippy Bernie Sanders SHOULD have made a more sustainable run for the nomination, and Joe is just enough of a gentleman (I use that term loosely) to allow Bernie to make significant inroads on the Democrat base. Herself, of course, with an unassailable claim on the “right” to the nomination, simply bulldozed everybody else out of the way.
Which makes every other assertion about “woulda, coulda, shoulda” pretty much a moot point.

America avoided a pervert who groped little girls on camera while the media watched and did noting.
Biden’s fake remorse falls squarely in the “could-a, would-a, and should-a” blustering bull hockey category; as though now, at this late date, he KNOWS, that had he run in 2016 he would have won. The truth is, that had he run, he would’ve had his butt handed to him, just as PIAPS did.
The Primary would have been an ugly, entertaining brawl
When he ran against Obama, Hillary and others he won 1% or less of the primary vote before he quit.
That is basically like Lindsey Graham becoming president.
