A President riding through city streets in an open convertible is one thing.
Not being secure in the supposedly secure White House is another. Two recent jumpers at the White House. One being on premises 15 minutes before anyone noticed. Another actually entering inside and being near the stairs leading to the living quarters is another matter.
The President carrys. He should continue. And also have a 12 gauge in the bedroom.
Secret Service is continually showing that they are currently unable to keep intruders out of the White House and the “secure” grounds.
There's a difference between being in an open convertible and the presumed safety of the White House. Your example is ridiculous.
