The Internet Will Soon be Under Complete Agenda Driven Control, It’s Time for an Alternative

The internet will soon be a “safe space”, free from “hatred”, free from “Fake News”, free from “hurtful rhetoric” and of course, free from any views or opinions that do not fit the “progressive narrative”. Google and Facebook are looking to become public facilities (State operated), and with that will be the end of the World Wide Web as an open forum. That is not to say that the basic services will be any better or any worse, but as a place to challenge orthodoxy and “narrative”, it will be effectively dead.

The reason behind this takeover is an attempt to control the narrative of our everyday lives. Those who think outside the political narrative are not a small minority, and by joining with others who do not whole-heartedly believe the progressive agenda, they are a threat. To date, like-minded people have had access to forums and non-MSM which has helped them to realise that they are not an oddity, and in fact, may be in the majority. The establishment doesn’t want a political awakening, so they mean to shut down the lines of communication.

LOL!
The change in the internet is to a more profitable advertising medium.
Everything ‘free’ thing on the internet is there to make money.

“The reason behind this takeover is an attempt to control the narrative of our everyday lives. “

You know that beautiful AR you lost in that boating accident? Might want to get out your loran and look for it.

That’s good news. What are your reasons for your belief?

Twitter has to worry about surviving at all as their income model sucks as does their stock.

Wasn’t Loran C decommissioned? I had to have it yanked from my plane in 2010. Nice North star Loran. Just as accurate as my VOR. Usually more. I used the Loran on approaches and the VOR just to be compliant with FAR’s.

It says The Internet so I’m guessing that means the whole internet. That would mean gab.ai would be shut down too.

I have listened to shortwave since I was a kid. But anymore, English speaking programs are disappearing, esp in just the last 2 years. I am not a Ham, just used to enjoy the format and some really off the wall folks doing rants n raves. Still religious stuff but more and more in spanish and chinese. Imagine that. Oh and of course, programs from the paradise known as CUBA.

Loran was last transmitted August 8, 2010. Congress shut it down after about sixteen years of last minute rescues in the budgets. Good o’l omnibus budgets prolonged it’s life.

You cannot shut down networked digital communications without a police-state. We would have had that if Hitlery had won. But God intervened and raised up an unlikely Gideon by the name of Donald Trump.

There are a million world-class geeks standing ready to create alternatives to the current internet if the need arises.

Trump could cause great damage to Twitter by bad-mouthing them for censorship and moving to gab.ai. Many millions would follow him there.

Short synopsis please.
What is GAB.AI?

I went there and am on a waiting list to get in.

An alternative to what? twitter? FR?

As it is on the internet it is no alternative to SW radio.
The Soviet Union fell because of old 300 baud FAX machines. Anything “online” is a goner. Local radio nets are the only thing I can think of that use similar tech but with a sustainable backbone. If they keep the electricity grid turned on. You’ll need power, batterries and solar, etc. Venezuela doesn’t have any toilet paper to wipe your A**, and you think you’ll be able to get to gab.ai?

Study the resistance fighters of Norway, France(yes, they were very courageous) and Poland. If the PTB want to round you up, you have a 3% chance of slipping through.

I hate these really dumb and uninformed posts.
