I Told You Testosterone Would Make Women’s Sports More Interesting

To be fair—given the perverse transgender agenda of the modern left—my idea was that men (like Bruce—“Dude Looks Like a Lady!”—Jenner) would compete as “women.” My idea was not that female athletes who want to pretend that they are men (or boys)—and thus take athletic performance-enhancing drugs such as testosterone to help live such a deluded fantasy—would compete as females. I did not imagine this because (I thought) virtually every female athletic association would not allow such an advantage.

Of course, in most athletic associations this is the case, but at the high school level in the state of Texas, it seems there are exceptions. As has been widely reported recently, a female wrestler in Texas—Mack Beggs—has won the state championship in her division largely due to the fact that she has a significant competitive advantage: she’s taking steroids (testosterone).

This story has been out for a couple of days. It took me a long time before I could figure out what is going on. But basically there is a young girl who is taking male hormones because she wants to develop as a boy would. So outside of the sex organs she is developing male muscles, size and shape.

Now the whole reason that female athletes have a separate category is because male athletes have a an advantage with their testosterone. If females get male levels of testosterone they should not be competing with other females. Females are allowed to compete with males in football or hockey or baseball when they can.

This story seems like a girl who at worst, is taking performance enhancing hormones. And at best is going through a medical procedure. But either way, I am not sure why she is allowed to compete at all and especially with females.

A good read, injected with a lot of common sense.

By the way this medical meddling rarely ends well. The people who let doctors play with their natural development usually regret it at some time in life. Michael Jackson comes to mind.

She wanted to wrestle with the boys, but was denied. She was allowed to take testosterone because it was prescribed by a doctor.

She should have accepted that choices have consequences and chosen not to wrestle girls who didn't have the same advantage she had.

Women's sports will disappear once two things happen (likely in this order):

1. Testosterone-enhanced freaks like this girl start getting all the women's athletic scholarships at NCAA schools.

2. "Transgender" men call themselves women and get all the women's athletic scholarships at NCAA schools.

No, she should not be allowed to compete.

If she wanted to wrestle, she should not have taken testosterone.

Exactly the point of the piece Mr. Thomas wrote last year: http://www.trevorgrantthomas.com/2016/06/will-further-perversions-of-title-ix.html

This needs to happen, the sooner, the better. That way, women may finally put a stop to this crap, and restart to true female sports.

I would rather see trannies take over women’s sports than have to live through another media overreaction to the US winning the women’s world cup.
