Elizabeth Warren allegedly rode something of a wave following her oh-so-nefarious “silencing” on the floor of the Senate. If the press was to be believed (they’re not) the decision to shut Warren down was a vile act of misogyny, and breach of decorum, a Nazi-like violation of the 1st Amendment, and a bad political play all rolled into one. It was, we were told, a defining moment that would generate sympathy and catapult her toward the highest office in the land.
