IOWA CITY — Her lip quivering, Patrisse Cullors’ heart sank.
It was 2013, and she was in a motel room on a website, waiting for the news of George Zimmerman’s verdict. Guilty, or not guilty, in the killing of Trayvon Martin — a black 17-year-old who was fatally shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer while on his way home from buying candy at a convenience store.
“Not guilty, and they say not guilty, and they continue to say not guilty until they say, ‘not guilty of all charges,’” Cullors, 32, of Los Angeles, recalled for a packed audience of hundreds in the Englert Theatre in Iowa City on Monday night. “And I start to cry. And I don’t cry just for Trayvon. I cry for black people. I cry for this country and our world.”
And through her tears, Cullors said, her spirit rose up with this revelation.
“If we allow this, if we allow ourselves to go silent, if we sweep this moment under the rug, they will continue to kill us and think it’s OK,” she said....

"Okay" is not exactly the right word. But when thugs are raised to attack others and attempt murder, killing those predators is the only safe option.

As long as you keep portraying the killings of violent black predators by people exercising their right to self-defense as if these thugs were just innocently minding their own business when someone decided to use them for target practice, you will remain bound by chains. When you begin to accept that you have to stop raising young black boys to be uncivilized brutes, and that you need to make some changes in your culture, then you will truly begin to throw off your bondage. The truth, as the old saying goes, will set you free.
Dishonest reporting once again. He was killed when he decided not to continue home and instead tried to beat Zimmerman to death.

No matter how you set the T. Martin story straight, tens of millions of Americans are invested in the lie set forth by the popular media.
Too late now, but Z should never have been charged, especially after his justifed release after intense questioning by law enforcement, but reinstituted significantly later under social pressure.

What was needed here was a President who had some respect for the rule of law, instead of using every incident he could to inflame racial division and the blame game.
