If you have a reasonable fear for your own life, you are justified in using self-defense.
Whether you are charged or not depends on a lot of factors.

I think it depends on whether it’s at night or not.
Too bad Oregon doesn’t have that rule, that you can defend another’s property.

There was a guy with a concealed carry in a Portland protest. They locked him up and not the people attacking him. But that’s Portland for you. Eugene probably the same.
I used to say the people who thought Berkeley was too Conservative, moved to Oregon.
The Anarchy groups who justify beating people up based on their personal opinions is very strong in the NW.

I like how they’d NEVER start any news story about a conservative gathering with how peaceful it was, if ANY KIND of violence was associated with it whatsoever.

I think people who are “detained” in their cars by mobs need to start suing for wrongful imprisonment.
If i am held up in my car, with no reasonable way of moving away with my car, I am being held hostage. That is kidnapping, and i’m going to act like I am being kidnapped, and react accordingly. And I’m going to take names, and sue everybody involved, and file a police report about the kidnapping.
Or maybe I’ll just slowly run away with my car. I think I’m allowed to use a certain amount of force to avoid being captured by criminals.

That means the EO not only kept people off flights, but there was a reason to send some of the arrivals back where they came from!
And per Spicer, President Trump acted quickly, so as to not give the bad guys any advance notice.
