Trump and May must circumvent Security Council Resolution 2334
Canada Free Press ^ | 01/25/17 | David Singer

Resolution 2334 has now declared as illegal the rights vested by the Mandate in the Jewish People to reconstitute the Jewish National Home in East Jerusalem, Gaza and Judea and Samaria (West Bank)

President Trump’s meeting with UK Prime Minister Theresa May this coming Friday affords them a perfect opportunity to discuss reaffirming their countries commitments to the Jewish People made by America in 2004 and Great Britain in 1922—which were seriously undermined when neither country vetoed Security Council Resolution 2334 on 23 December 2016.

This might make sense from Trump's standpoint. He wasn't the president when the U.S. abstained from a vote on Resolution 2334.

But why would the Canada Free Press think Theresa May would circumvent a U.N. resolution that her own government voted for?

If Trump goes full throttle here the outcome will be good.

If the UN does nothing it’s a victory. The Palestinians and radical Islam will have lost a valuable ally. The UN will be seen as feckless.

If the UN decides to push forward with more anti-Israel resolutions and actions, it will create more momentum in the US to get out of the UN.

Either way, UN loses and freedom wins.

I don’t really think Trump cares.

How would the UN try to enforce that?
