MSNBC stabs the narrative in the back.
It’s really starting to look like the Trump/Russia blackmail story will go down in history as a high point in the annals of fake news. Every hour, we learn something new that derails the narrative the media so desperately wanted to believe. Buzzfeed, which President Elect Trump called a “failing pile of garbage” during today’s press conference is now the “fake news” poster child.
As Dan outlined earlier, the entire kerfuffle stems from a briefing in which Trump was allegedly informed that the Russians had some pretty disgusting video of him frolicking with a pair of Moscow’s finest prostitutes.
Yeah sure. Trump is smart enough not to use e-mails but he is dumb enough to frolic with Russian prostitutes while he has a beautiful wife at home.
They were deliriously wallowing in the story right up until midnight last night, I watched it.

If this unsubstantiated story came out at a later time, like some sort of low point in the Trump administration it could be devastating. As it is coming out now it can end up being more like an inoculation.
There is a huge problem with fake news in Russia and they seem to be exporting it. In order to avoid falling into the snare, you have to have some sort of immunity. This is a way to make that happen I think.
