President-elect Trump has asked Congress to investigate whether classified intelligence regarding Russia's hack-and-release operations during the 2016 election was shared with NBC News this week.
"I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it," the incoming Republican president tweeted Friday morning, just before receiving a briefing from top intelligence officials about a report on Moscow's cyber activity that was delivered to President Obama earlier this week.

I never dreamed I’d live to see the day when the entire “intelligence community” was run by extreme leftists.
Always keeping in mind that these “hacks” only resulted in the American people learning things that TPTB didn’t want us to know.
I’m surprised that it took so long for DJT to say something about information in top-secret reports being leaked to the media. It has never been more obvious that the CIA and other organizations involved are shills for the Dems. Besides that, isn’t it a serious crime?
Trump is letting the people know the corruption went deep. He’s exposing them even before taking office.
Happily, they’re pissing off Trump, who should ensure heads roll.
Actually, it should be the FBI because releasing TS/COMINT data to an in-cleared person is a felony. The timing of the release whether before or after PEOTUS is irrelevant.
I do respect the political play by DJT and salute his response but it doesn’t change the criminal element of this situation

NBC, will undoubtedly refuse to give the source of the intelligence data. It probably came from Obama himself.

Why the surprise? We've had about 25 years of incremental decline, debt and death from those in D.C. Not to mention wide open violent borders, and disastrous reckless foreign policies only our enemies love.
