I have read that he’s a devout Christian. Seems to be a very good thing to have such a man as the world’s diplomat. Having said that, I just remembered Jimmy Carter, so I could be wrong.
In the final analysis SoS is a negotiating deal maker. This guy is world class. As good as they get. He’s negotiated with Putin and waked out wit a $300 billion deal. They’re not sleeping together.

However, he keeps hammering integrity as being the basis for any success. I have yet to understand how he can have integrity and promote homosexual troop leaders in the Boy Scouts of America. Maybe his four children are all girls, I don't know. Maybe he had no choice because the board decided, in which case where is his integrity? Why did he not resign?. I like him a lot but I want to know why on God's Good Green Earth he fought for this policy. I hope he has a reason I can live with as otherwise he is sterling.

It is really not praise, but an appraisal of the incompetence of those three.I am sure that he will be infinitely better.
But those three mentioned were and are so bad that I have a crippled cat that could do a better job and he makes more sense when he meows than that do speaking what they consider the English language.
Can he be any worse than: Clinton, John F’n Kerry, Colin Powell, Colin Powell, Madeleine (Half)bright, Henry Kissinger, or Lawrence Eagleburger? I think probably not.
