My neighbor has been taking high blood pressure for many years. I think he said it was Tribenzor.
He said a 30 day supply at WalMart and CVS was anywhere from #220 to $235 for 30 pills.
He found a place in Canada that sells the exact same medication, 84 pills for $136. Over a course of 1 year, he saves at least $2050. Hell, that’s a new fancy fridge or an ultra nice washer/dryer combo and a set of tires for my work truck...per year
If what he tells me is true, I guess there really is a big pharma.
Imagine having 50 companies compete for sales for a given drug instead of 3 or 4. Certainly intellectual property must receive some amount of protection but there are many useful drugs that should be open for generic labeling. That could really help out Americans and be a bond to start ups.
