You’re still repeating the same lies, I see.

The CMS admin has a reputation for being one of the sharpest minds on Medicaid and Medicare policy that are based on market criteria - and not on increased government control. She has gotten this job via merit and not because she is a victim minority as you shamefully suggest.

Frankly, for folks like you, it appears any immigrant who is on the Right deserves to be condemned because they aren’t “10th generation” Americans. Remember - neither is the president Elect.

There is absolutely no statistical chance that someone from a 1% cohort of the United States population could get a job entirely “on merit” as you claim.

There are by any measure tens of thousands of equally qualified non-Indians who were not even considered for the job. Simple statistics and comparison of relevant work histories would show that.

All things being equal, she has a high profile job that represents something < 0.0008% of the working population because she is a favored ethnicity. And no other reason. Her views on alternative insurance plans for medical insurance are well known for generations in the United States and probably unheard of anywhere in the Punjab.

So her knowledge is derivative, not original. What sets her apart is...her ethnicity. Nothing more.

Occam’s Razor.

PS - yeah that's true, but he is a WASP - which means he's actually related to us, so we aren't being ruled by a total foreigner.

Let me know how India still feels about the Raj.

Holy cow! Is that info you posted on the square? How can someone like that be allowed here as a member on FR?

Depends on who you ask re India and the Raj - folks like me see the +vest more than the negatives. I think India would have been better off with a Dominion relationship with the U.K. Yes, there have been some advantages in terms of not being a colony but those are outweighed by the severe lack of ethics and rise in corruption in an independent India.

Of course, views like mine are not always popular - especially when I speak to friends who are visiting from India, but believe me, there’re more common than one would think.

BTW, I’m not a WASP and am the “other” - nevertheless, there are folks like me who are naturally on the right and will continue to be so - scorn notwithstanding.

Be well FRiend.

I challenge TBP to refute his leadership role at COK, their FARA status, the Mohammed Ali Jinnah award, or the fact that COK’s co-founder is in prison . To date, TBP refuses to condemn convicted criminal Paramjit Ajrawat - despite being offered many chances to do so.

In recent years and after he was exposed, Tim has been very diligent about not being as public with his pro Pakistani press releases and congratulatory messages to the Paki Army - though there is a public record of him doing it well after 9/11 happened and the Osama-Paki connection was established.

The thing is Tim claims to be a conservative but then the prospect of a Muslim terrorist country ban (read as Pakistan) made him the loudest Never Trumper on FR. He was an active member at the anti-FR site (which I will not mention to avoid giving them hits). If you notice his posts, he is against Trump/Bannon/etc on a frequent basis and accuses them of being alt-right (ironically, a term popularized by the Left as slander).

Thanks for the post indcons. Good grief! I don’t/didn’t care for never Trumper fools, especially after he won the nomination, but this other jazz is just pure anti-America crap! WHY is he allowed here on FR??!! Others have been atomized into the nether world’s ozone via the Mighty Viking Kitteh’s Lightning for a lot less!

We’re supposed to accept the word of someone who doesn’t even get the name right?

Everyone knows you’re not telling the truth, indcons, and we can all see your personal vendetta.

She sounds very qualified. I don’t know that we need such an office, however.

I know that — I don’t know that we need it, however. But then, I think most of the government is unneeded.
