Obama's agencies push flurry of 'midnight' actions

Federal agencies are rushing out a final volley of executive actions in the last two months of Barack Obama’s presidency, despite warnings from Republicans in Congress and the reality that Donald Trump will have the power to erase much of their handiwork after Jan. 20.

Regulations on commodities speculation, air pollution from the oil industry, doctors’ Medicare drug payments and high-skilled immigrant workers are among the rules moving through the pipeline as Obama’s administration grasps at one last chance to cement his legacy. So are regulations tightening states’ oversight of online colleges and protecting funding for Planned Parenthood.

Trump should generate a single document template, that simply states:

Executive Order [number] is repealed.

Then, he can use the document merge function to replicate it as many times as necessary, inserting the number of every executive order enacted since the election.

The, he can start on the ones enacted earlier in 2016, and work back year-by-year until 2009.

And then, he can look at Bush and Clinton EOs.

President Trump should have a televised news conference with a large shredding machine by his side into which every executive order illegally passed by Obama would be dumped.

Just the sight of thousands of pages of regulations being shredded would lift the spirits of America’s taxpayers. And he should say that if any illegal harassment by Obama’s henchmen has taken place on the basis of these extra-legal EOs (such as McCarthy did in the EPA), they will be subject to indictment. All vestiges of King Obama’s illegal rules should be obliterated in the first 100 days.

For these cases his own directive to all Federal agencies that every regulation promulgated after a certain date be rescinded posthaste.

Obama's march to make this a communist country will never end until he's gone. Even then he has a race card and a mouth, he will use both forever.

Besides the obvious reason of going around the system these E.O.s must be serving another purpose.
I say this because Obama has to know Trump will erase most if not all?

These people do not care one iota about the will of the people and this is Exhibit A of that fact.

They keep thinking Trump is a politician who will meekly accept his predecessors actions as written in stone.

In business you go in knowing that you are going to have to tear things up if you want to turn a failing enterprise around.

The democrats have deep pockets and will challenge every policy Trump attempts to overturn.

They own most of the courts and have our money to fight against a spineless republican legislature.

President Trump should revoke ALL new regulations from after the election. No exceptions. In addition, President Trump should revoke all executive orders from these eight terrible years. Again, no exceptions. I hope Trump will announce that intention now so that the thugs on the left can stop worrying about what to order, and so decent people on the right can stop worrying about whether they need to comply.

Why? Why are they wasting their time with this? Why are they going to force the Trump administration to waste more time and money un-doing their ill-conceived and rushed regulations?

Forget 'rat vs GOP, or lib vs conservative - as a simple taxpayer I'm angry at them for this fraud, waste, and abuse. You want my backing for your ideas and your agenda? Well, wasting *my* money is not a good way to get it!

All their rushed efforts are doing is ensuring they are putting out shoddy work. That gives the Trump administration even more reason to roll it right back first thing. I think the new administration ought to not only roll them back, but investigate the people rushing them through now for fraud, waste, and abuse. If the transition team lets that be known, maybe it will reduce the ardor for ill-conceived regs in the current crop of criminals.
