I sure as hell hope that the Feds under Trump will not provide money for them to rebuild any of their cities damaged by rioters. Let them pay for it themselves.

Let's try a little thought experiment. Consider your typical liberal utopia. Suppose there's a gay pride parade or some similar stupidity planned. I decide to exercise my 1st Amendment protected rights and protest or voice my opposing opinion...

Now, what do you think the chances are some snowflake would claim I was disturbing the peace, or had assaulted them with micro-aggression? You think a local libtard DA would be so quick to drop charges on me?

This kind of elitist double-standard as exemplified by the Clinton's "I'm above the law" attitude is exactly why and how President-elect Trump won. We are sick of it.

Police administrators are so afraid of the DOJ they let these cretins do just about anything before taking action.

Cops get hurt, and stuff gets broken and those responsible walk.

Huge waste of time and taxpayer money.

Seems to me that the good citizens of Portland (if there are any) should elect a new DA at the next election. Businesses were damaged, lives disrupted and a person was shot because of these hired and paid thugs. Why were the charges dropped?

So did Soros pay some sort of fine to get his paid goons out of the pokey? I hope Trump gets whoever he names to the office of Attorney General to investigate Soros as soon as possible.

Good thinking, Portlandia. You have just shown these thugs and their compatriots they can do whatever they want in your city and there will be no consequences. Prepare yourselves as best you can for the fire next time.

Looks like Craig’s list is cooperating with criminal activity, allowing people to solicit rioters on it’s forum.

Craig’s list could wind up in court, and some of it’s employees could be going to prison.

Portland and Seattle have been so corrupted by the communists, Marxists, socialists, liberal fools and the drug culture that nothing short of a purge is going to clean them up.

What might be done is to charge the DA’s with judicial misconduct if they fail to prosecute violent crimes, esp. against the police.

There should be videos of these acts.

Elections won’t do anything in these two cities. The people are too Left, to stupid, and too drugged to do anything a sane person would do.

Not sure what it means to dismiss the charges “for now.”
Maybe some of the property owners who experienced vandalism need to form their own coalition and put the stink-eye on the judge and the city...

ITYS! Arrests mean nothing. At least their fingerprints are on file.

Of course the charges are being dropped. Some animals are more equal than others, and in Oregon criminals are advantaged in the courts. If they had refused to bake a gay so-called-wedding cake, instead of rioting, burning, and looting, they would have been punished even more severely than the law allowed. Since they are harming productive people, there will be no charges.

I’d love to see the Property Insurance companies file a Class Action lawsuit against these municipalities which tolerate (encourage) rioters.

Add Soros and the MSM to the defendants. See if the ambulance chasing Bar Association will go after them with the same fervor they displayed against Asbestos & Tobacco!

This is ‘weaponized’ government in action. Only use laws to hurt or punish one’s enemy and do not use them against one’s friend and allies.

“I wouldn’t count on justice being done, until Donald Trump officially takes office at least.”

I agree. Let’s hope the power of the purse strings will help them to ‘See the light’.
