I did something this past weekend, that I never thought I’d do. I ordered a Sprinter RV. 144 wheel base, made by Midwest Automotive Design in Elkhart, IN.
YOu’re totally off the grid. Soar panels, lithium battey system, induction cook top and micro wave/stove electric reclining queens size bed and your shower/toilet stall.
Downsizing....going to just tour the country every weekend, starting in Georgia. Will take 12 weeks to build it.
IN short, going to join the camper’s life....Maybe we’ll run into each other. You’re in Nevada or was it Arizona?
Touche’ Fantastic decision. Life’s too short not to pursue the things that bring us joy, by putting the quest of them off, until our golden years.
I filed for a modest pension as soon as I could, albeit minus a 10% penalty, and I went hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail. 3,2000 miles later, I’m still going strong.
My hike landed me a ferry boat captain job at a resort on Lake Edison. One of the coolest jobs that I’ve had in a while.
I winter in AZ, and soon I will be in CA, working up at a resort (V V R) in the Sierra NF throughout the summer. (90 miles north of Fresno)
