And .. NO! Votes for one person cannot be transferred to another person. So, putting Biden in would be a waste of time. The race will be over .. and there’s nothing they can do about it.

And remember, Congress has to accept and certify Electoral College votes. Anything too strange, and they could reject EVs and pick the president themselves.
Too many people don’t understand that certain procedures will be followed because the states and Congress have *power*, not because they have some fidelity to the Founders’ vision.
The fix is already in.(early voting) That is why they finally brought this out. Hitler wins and all this new investigation withers away.
If the president can’t serve then its the vice president that serves as president and the speaker of the house becomes vice president. To me it would make sense to apply this rule to a situation such as a candidate either dropping out or being declared ineligible, etc. This way Kaine moves up to be the presidential candidate and the speaker of the house,Paul Ryan becomes vice president. There is no set rule that President and Vice President have to be of the same party, when the president no longer serves. Look at the early presidential races, the runner up of the other party was vice-president. It would very interesting, except that Kaine seems to be a bit of a kook like Johnson. Of course there maybe a different speaker in 2017, but hopefully not a democrat. Just a thought...

If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
I wonder if Huma didn’t cut a deal with the FBI. Some of those emails showed she was getting fed up with Hillary. Now Hillary has read those emails and knows what Huma really thinks about her.
Huma knows people who get on the Clintons’ wrong side sometimes don’t end up in very good shape. She may have cut a deal for Weiner and herself.
