(Vanity) When it comes to the polls, follow the money
10/26/16

Excuse the vanity, but it's important to remember in this craziness over the polls, that the mainstream media is a profit-making enterprise which we have somehow allowed to run our elections.

Elections are the media's cash cows, their Christmases, their Black Fridays. Candidates pour advertising dollars into their depleted accounts, and most of that money must by law be paid upfront. Nice gig, huh?

So when you see media-generated or media- subscribed polls, please remember it's in the media's best financial interest to keep the race "close," by having candidates trade leads, rise and fall, gain and lose support. It keeps both sides buying advertising, and that's really all the media cares about.

Oh, sure, there's a political agenda, too, but it's the money that matters. The more they control the race, the more bucks they make.

At some point, we as a nation really must talk about why we let the media run our elections. It's as big a conflict of interest as can be.

I hear ya. I’ve been thinking the same thing. Horserace makes them money.

I disagree.

The last time I looked, the media was pushing, The Race Is Over And Hillary Won, meme.

And about the media's financial interests, the global companies that own the media do business around the globe and because of that, they are prone to pushing anti American interests.

But then why are they then so eager to jump on stacked polls showing HRC opening up double-digit leads? If it’s in their fiduciary interest to keep it close, they’d want to bury polls like this, no?

Give it a few days. If there's money to be made by a last-minute Trump surge, you'll be reading, Hillary Fades as Trump Makes Advances.

Excellent point. Reality checks are enormously important in this election, where every mind control technique on the planet is being fired in volleys every single day.

What you're forgetting is that in actuality Trump is wildly ahead. So the only way to keep them even is to declare Hillary always ahead. There's a collision going on between actual truth and media lies, and they're trying to counterbalance it. People KNOW Hillary is tanking - that inner knowledge is what has to be fought. Because once people see any confirmation of their own inner knowledge, Hillary's over - no one will then believe the voter fraud.

Always - always - follow the money.

The love of money (not money itself) is the root of all evil.

Nonsense. Not saying they don't have some conflicting interests, but there are plenty of ways the conflict could be worse. Say by having media run exclusively by the ruling party.
