Don't try this out in your neck of the woods.
This "hunter" demonstrates why he is nominated for "Jackass of the month". Any serious hunter would respect the game that he pursues. Harassing a wild animal is un-called for, the following video highlights pure stupidity and also demonstrates how not to behave in the field.
There would be nothing wrong with this clip if he intended to harvest the animal. But luring a moose to within inches, only to smack it in the antlers then let out a bark is, well, just plain idiotic.
In my view, as someone who wants to show hunting in a positive light, it’s behaviors such as this that give anti-hunters the ammunition they need. What are your thoughts? See the video.
In the early days of YouTube there was a bow hunter who had his wife video him getting his ass kicked by a buck. It is hilarious. I doubt he was hurt much beyond his pride.
I would be concerned that messing with a moose could actually be fatal. This could turn into a snuff film pretty easily. Not fun.
He obviously hadn’t brushed his teeth that morning.
One whiff of that Halitosis and the Moose was off....
9 times out of 10 this would’ve ended with this guy being a fatality...he was just plain lucky IMO. If he continues to do this it will eventually end differently.
There is a FReeper whose sister was bit by a moose once.
