On Wednesday morning, police responded to a car crash at Roosevelt and Cicero on the city's West Side where officers encountered a man that police allege was violent and under the influence of drugs.
Three officers were hospitalized in the incident. One officer who was severely beaten told Supt. Johnson she was afraid for her life and afraid to use lethal force with all of the attention on the police department's previous actions and fatal incidents...

And the alternative is?
She found out.
Which is worse? The scrutiny or being beaten to within an inch of your life?
She’s not cut out for te job then.

Bad decision-making process.
So, women are ready for infantry combat? I don't think so.

Who would go into combat when the Commander in Chief is Rham Emanuel who does not have your back?

Dems should congratulate themselves. Their plan is working. Cops will die of course, but they will solidify their support from the black community which will help greatly with the 2016 GOT(B)V effort.

All of this violence could be avoided. If the Chicago Police just made a writable PDF form available online for violent criminals to simply fill out at their leisure there would be no need to harass folks.

I don’t think that women will be afraid that enemy combatants will file charges over them being over exuberant in their defense.

What’s really sad is that apparently there were three cops there and none of them shot the bastard.

You completely miss the point: it would never occur to a man to allow another man to attack him. Our testosterone-driven brains would cause us to take the adversary on, using whatever lay at hand as necessary. For a law enforcement officer to just allow him/herself to be beaten nearly to death is ridiculous and incomprehensible.
In the infantry, the only successful combatants have to be able to kill without any second thoughts. Hesitation is death to yourself and the men around you.
The next hard part is getting them to stop after they've started. No place for ladies (or soft men), period.
