Kim Strassel’s always-excellent Potomac Watch column is especially good in today’s Wall Street Journal, as it breaks down and exposes clearly how the FBI caught Hillary crony Cheryl Mills in a gigantic lie - and then let her completely off the hook for it.
Mills told FBI investigators that she never even heard of Hillary’s schlock, homebrew e-mail server until after both she and Hillary had left the State Department, and that in fact during the time she worked at State she wasn’t even sure she knew what a server was.
If that sounds like a whopper, well, you know darn well that it is. And so did the FBI, as Jason Chaffetz demonstrated undeniably during his questioning yesterday of FBI Director James Comey. As Strassel explains:

The purpose and only purpose on immunity now was to block future prosecutions by Trump DOJ. But I have news for Ms Mills. It wont work. Lawyers tell me there are many ways around it -— like free standing evidence in everyone of those government document emails you exposed in violation of the law. You will need presidential Clemency, my dear. What a fine legacy that will be for our Islamist president.

Id be willing to bet that when the investigators found out how deep the rabbit hole went, DOJ told Comey to immunize everyone they could to divert the real whoppers nobody knows about.
And those 100-150 agents who worked the case signed those non-disclosure documents under threat of being fired. Probably with monthly lie detector testing to ensure compliance. That and getting a bad case of Arkancide if they leaked a thing.
I’m not saying it’s right at all, but the 5 immunity agreements from DOJ made them the fall guys- without one of them taking the fall.
I can’t believe they didn’t get every doc she ever generated. She may have bleach bit them. But the moment her IP address was put in the wild by Combetta on a website, I’d guess it took days for hackers to get in there.

It seems to me that immunity agreements are usually predicated on cooperation relevant to further investigations. Since the one IT guy has refused to cooperate, I’d suppose his agreement is subject to cancellation, likewise all the others who fail to fully cooperate with the new Trump Justice department.

Surely they didn’t get unlimited immunity .Comey is an actor in this corruption . we need to grand jury his testimony and that he actually gets due process and that he is not above the law this time.
