Why in the world would the NRA endorse the Democrat in Missouri? "GotNews" gives us the answer

As a life NRA member, like many of you I was puzzled and dismayed by the news that the NRA had endorsed the Democrat candidate for Governor of Missouri. What but how could that be? This report from GotNews.com lays it out.

The Republican candidate is Eric Greitens, a Navy SEAL! There must be more to the story and there is. GotNews.com has presented the whole picture of exactly who Greitens is; and it’s not very attractive for genuine American conservatives. Greitens is former Democrat, a globalist and a man who has strong connections to “the Clinton Foundation, George Soros, Hollywood, and Goldman Sachs.”

GotNews.com can take it from here:

“He was slammed by other Navy SEALs in a viral video for grossly embellishing his military service. You can watch the shocking video here."

“Most of Eric Greitens’ globalist links have to do with his non-profit The Mission Continues. Running his non-profit has been his only real job aside from politics since he left the military in 2007.The list of globalist links is long, so strap yourselves in, folks. Let’s get started. To begin with, the only two “supporters” listed on The Mission Continues’ (TMC) website that contributed over $1 million recently are Goldman Sachs and the Wounded Warrior project.”

“You could say Goldman Sachs and Wounded Warriors Project both have a tradition of screwing over honest Americans. So why are they both dumping millions into Eric Greiten’s non-profit?"

The Mission Continues also has ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton and their pay-to-play, influence-peddling, money-laundering charity organization, the Clinton Foundation.

The TMC-Clinton connection dates back to at least 2010, when First Lady Michelle Obama used TMC stats in a speech at the Clinton Global Initiative, a yearly conference held by the Clinton...

Sounds like MO should have nominated Todd Aiken for governor this year then

Who is the popular Democrat gubernatorial nominee in MO? Does he have ties to Ferguson?

It always seems scummy Goldman Sachs is always in the mix. (e.g. Peter Sutherland and Muslim immigration into Europe)

Whenever I hear of a pedophile ring busted, I half expect to hear Goldman Sachs involved somehow.

Claire McKackle had more to do with Aiken’s nomination than most folks realize.

Eric Greitens, democrat applauding Barack Obams at 2008 DNC Convention, was a Trojan Horse in the MO primary, while MO RINOs refused to get behind the real conservative, John Brunner, so........guess what - a phoney sham slipped in!

Geez, we had Kinder and Brunner but instead we got this turd.

It’s hard to type but should we vote Dem in this case?

SEAL or other branch means nothing to me. There are way too many of them that love guns and all that comes with them. However, they believe that only they should be allowed to use them.

These types want the childlike life of a military base for the whole nation.

And if there is anything on earth more aristocratic in its mentality than a Navy officer, I’d like to know what it is.

That nutball needs to be locked away until after the election. The LAST thing we need is for that idiot to come out in October and start running his mouth.

That's right.

For all the media cacophony that links the NRA to "conservative Republicans," the organization is one of the most effective lobbying groups in Washington because it is politically non-partisan.

The NRA has a long-standing policy of endorsing Second Amendment supporters regardless of political affiliation. I believe they even have a standing policy of supporting an incumbent over a challenger if they are both seen as advocates of the right to keep and bear arms. In other words, the incumbent who has voted accordingly is preferred over a challenger with no track record.

This is why the NRA has been supporting Harry Reid for some time. This @sshole has come out pushing for gun control right now only because he's retiring and won't be running again.

That of an Air Force officer.

IMO, the various branches of the armed forces have a chain of command. The navy, however, has a pecking-order. I muse about this occasionally as I go to work daily for this sneering and dismissive ass of a recently retired navy CWO.

I'm really torn on this goobernutorial race. Greitens came off immediately as a fraud to me, and that was prior to all the ad attacks. But to vote for a dem is anathema to me, what to do....

“That of an Air Force officer.”

Go compare the inside (and menu) at an Air Force Officer’s Club and an Navy one and you will change your mind.

Looks like Missourians have a choice between two liberals.

Most of the standouts in my personal pantheon of loathsome workplace martinets were either former junior officers or retired senior NCOs, and now that I think about it, the ex-Army ones were slightly less arrogant than the ex-Navy and ex-AF guys. As unpleasant as they were to work for/with in the civilian world, I felt sorry for any poor uniformed subordinate who was forced to take their crap.

I was in a service organization when a newly-retired AF E-8 came on board, and his insatiable demands for discipline and authority were only made bearable by the fact that we were under no obligation to pay attention to him (a fact which made him apoplectic).

Perhaps more germane to the "Republican" candidate in MO, all of the ex-mil leftists I have known had been in the Navy or Marines. That latter thing surprised me.

Chris Koster is the Democrat nominee for Governor. He is former Republican. He switched sides in 04. He has all the major agriculture endorsements also. Trump will get the Presidential votes and hopefully on down the line the vote will be Republican. I assume Koster will be Governor. Mike Parson, Republican, is running against a Carnahan for Lt. Governor, so vote Mike.

I will vote for Koster, but he’s the only Dem. I will cast a vote for this year. Like others, I voted for Brunner in the primary, but now I’ll support Chris Koster. If the Repubs keep Jeff City, we’ll have few worries.

I agree and think you are right as to your assessment.

Grietens is one of the neo-conservative stealth candidates from Soros and his people.

I would never vote for Koster. He did not fight Obamacare for the state of MO. I am very surprised you would.
