So It wasn't actually Hillary in 2008 that started the birther controversy, but Obama himself in 1991 that started it all.
this was published by his literary agent in 1991, but why would someone born in America even try to claim that he was born in Africa?
Three Words: " Coming to America "
The film released in 1989 started the "Cultural Meme" of the "Exotic African coming to America and doing great things".
Obama simply lied about himself and his origins for his own personal selfish reasons. Why just claim to be a run of the mill American who happens to be black when he could be an exotic African Prince who had a globe trotting past.
It is exotic, and exciting and good for his book career, and at the time he had no presidential ambitions.
At this point, this is an issue concocted by the Witch’s orcs.
This is not the time to address this issue. Maybe after Jan 20 if Trump is elected, but not now.
This is a diversionary tactic by the enemy.

I have that book, and that made me wonder why would he say he was born in Kenya when he had a U.S. Birth Certificate...and now I see why...but it was years ago that I read that book, maybe I should re read it...
Other people who had their bio’s printed with his said they wrote their own, so it is likely that Obama wrote that himself.
Being “African-born” made him exotic and interesting. It doesn’t prove he was actually born in Africa, but it proves that it once served his interest for people to think so. Until it didn’t, once he decided to run for president. At that point he reversed direction and if you believed his previous story, you’re a racist.
When that booklet came out, it went immediately into the memory hole. The only ones who cared were freepers.
Professional biographies of unknowns are always written by the subject. The information could really only have come from Obama. As to whether it was truthful, that’s up to him to clear up. Either way, there’s no innocent explanation.

True, but when this story was in the news briefly a few years back, the owners of the literary agency made an absurd excuse for Obama, saying that they (the literary agency) were guilty of sloppy research, as if they conduct research to determine where some potential client was born.
And, of course, no one in the MSM questioned that nonsensical 'explanation'. Of course Obama supplied his own biographical information.

Funny how NONE of 0blah-blah's career of phantom accomplishments and lies have yet to be tracked down by any research or exposed by hacks. But we do have the literary agent's mini-bio claiming his Kenyan birth (does citing his "Kenyan birth" turn us or Trump into "Birthers"??)
All of that about the image is fine - and good proof of a fraud.
But even better is the fact that the hospital named as his supposed birthplace didn’t even exist at that time, and that his father’s race was listed as “African” - when black people were referred to as “Negro” in 1961 in this country.
It is utter BS, and easily proven as such...and NO ONE in a position of power bothered to investigate. I am STILL sick to death over this. Every single thing that this man has done is unconstitutional, starting with RUNNING for President.
