The Constitution says you can’t pass laws or levy taxes without congressional approval. Barack Obama does not see the Constitution as a limit to respect. He sees it as a target to be destroyed, and his directive to the administrative state is to find a way.
Find a way to govern as we want, without having to bother with Congress. Do it via regulatory and administrative rulemaking if that’s what it takes. But do it.
May as well raise their taxes, because the dead also vote....
Sadly, I don’t think a Republican president would have the balls to govern this way against a Dem Congress.

Wasn’t that the point of obamacare. There’s a lot of potential profit to the government in estate tax thievery.
It’s perfectly all right to screw us if the top won’t stand up to him.
However a Republican president might have to resort to Obamaesque executive orders if the GOPe retains control of Congress.
