I was originally in favor of a Trump/Cruz ticket, I dropped that idea fast when Cruz caved and joined the never Trump crowd.

Since then Gingrich has been my number one choice for VP. He’s always had a reputation for saying what he thinks, doesn’t care who gets their panties in a wad, and he was the one who got people to drop the petty political squabbles and work up a budget, while all of them, Clinton included, would have been happy to sit there and do nothing and blame it on Republicans.

That’s what Trump needs, someone who knows how to get people to do their damn jobs. He’s proven that. He may have baggage, but Trump already knows a couple of things. What I said already, he can get people to work together, and he knows newt is not a “yes man”, as he showed by his comments when Trump made some controversial statements about the judge in the Trump U case. And I’m willing to bet a yes man is one thing Trump cannot stand...he didn’t get where he is by hiring brigades of yes men...

Unfortunately I didn’t see the Hannity show, it was already off before I even turned the TV on, and it was non stop coverage of the Nice truck attack by then. I did see a couple of short sound bytes, pretty good stuff. This morning Gen Flynn was pretty fired up about it too.
