Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is “95 percent” likely to pick Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate, according to the Washington Times. Sources close to Pence and to the Trump campaign tell Washington Times’ reporter Ralph Hallow that Pence is the probable vice presidential (VP) pick.

The Trump campaign announced Sunday it would hold a campaign rally near Indianapolis on Tuesday night, furthering the rumor that Pence will be announced as the VP choice.

If he’s the guy who caved immediately to the gay Nazis then I’m disappointed.

Man, I don’t want Pence....... I don’t even want to vote for him for Governor here again. I will, so that the mustache doesn’t get in but Pence has done absolutely nothing for Indiana. Mitch was so much more in the way of a leader and got so much done. Would prefer Newt. You never know, Trump may be throwing off the press with this one.

I’m not interested anymore if it is Pence. Seems like Trump is checking all the boxes and going along with his advisers rather than his gut instinct.

But no woman or black candidate that’s qualified? Perception is important. Even if we have the most qualified team it won’t matter at all without getting the votes for an election.

I don’t know Pence. You may be on to something though with Trump intentionally throwing off the press. After all, does Trump like or respect “the press?” I’d say that’s a big no. Does Trump know how to use (and have a history of using) the press and publicity? I’d call that a big yes. So I won’t believe any rumors good, bad, or otherwise until they are no-longer rumors.

It doesn’t matter who he chooses - there will be plenty who will “have grave concerns” no matter who the Veep pick is......most conveniently omit any mention of Hillary when they express their “grave concerns”....

If Pence is more conservative than the general, as reports indicate he is, that’s a better choice. This VP could be president someday. We have to have a conservative in the White House who will make good appointments.

We need a PATRIOT who is willing to give his/her all for the cause of Freedom, who loves America, supports the U.S. Constitution, and most importantly will seek THE LORD for guidance, wisdom, and strength.

No other will do.

“I like the general.”

A registered Democrat General trying to usher Trump’s legislative agenda through Congress. What could go wrong?

I saw enough of Pence when I saw his press conference after he caved to the pressures of the homo lobby. Quivering, cowering spinelessness. I’ve had nothing but contempt for him ever since.

Yep, that's him. That's why he's a bad pick IMO. It would be one thing if Trump picked a RINO. But why do you pick a guy who had his line in the sand moment and then caved? The pro-LGBTs won't like him for initially supporting the religious freedom law, and the religious freedom supporters won't like him for caving. He is not a Profile in Courage kind of guy. Who is he supposed to appeal to?

#1 requirement for a VP.
