I remember those days.
In 1901, Harry Tracy murdered 11 lawmen and prison guards using a 30-30 1894 Winchester.
In 1973, Mark Essex used a RUGER five shot tube fed semi auto to kill 5 policemen and 4 others.
In 1966, Charles Whitman murdered 16 people and injured 33 others Most of the killings was done with a bolt action rifle, and an M-1 carbine for backup. He stabbed his wife and his mother to death first.
It is not the type of rifle that matters, or what laws are passed, it is the determination of the shooter.
Shooting of firemen, ambushing police, rage, bombings. Yes, I remember those days and not fondly.
We need to call them BLT:

You posted singular murders and no the kind of gun used didn't matter. Don't forget, it was a thrown ROCK, which began the Kent State mess!
