Sometimes there are a few hard facts buried in the garbage, which are then quickly used to propagandize further. Also I still like the crossword puzzle, although they aren’t quite as good as when Will Shortz was editing them personally. Or I should say some are and some aren’t.

New York Post has the best sports pages in NY, I’ve heard. I don’t follow sports but love sportswriting when I do read it. NY Times is stuffy by comparison.

Yes. Not as conservative as most freepers would like, but yes.
People say the sports section is more knowledgeable than the Times, better writers, not exactly gossipy but chatty and interesting.
