They have absolutely no fear of America under Obama’s leadership. In a recent TV interview, IRGC Navy Commander Ali Fadavi said: “The Americans are aware that if they make even the slightest mistake, their naval vessels will be sunk in the Persian Gulf, the Hormuz Strait, and the Sea of Oman.”
He further claimed that Iran’s vessels would emerge from “undersea tunnels,” in which “no force will be able to harm our naval vessels.” In the interview, which aired on IRINN TV on May 10, Fadavi maintained that the crew of U.S. vessels is now obliged to speak Farsi in the Persian Gulf, and indeed do so.
** Iran also admitted recently that the Obama administration told them to keep quiet on their missile tests.

Iran might be able to make a first strike, or even put up a second wave. But like the Japanese commanders in the Second World War, they will have wakened a sleeping giant.

The problem with the Iranians is that they’ve been so insular since 1979 that they don’t really understand the USA. They project their own worldview onto us and they think our government controls all of us and that we’re all exactly alike in the way we think.
The problem facing the USA these days is that our manufacturing and cultural base is so weak that we would have severe difficulties in changing from a consumer economy to a wartime economy.
Unlike WW2 we’d have treasonous elements actively and openly opposing a full scale war against Iran.
Who knows, maybe we ARE as weak as the Iranians think we are.
Hopefully President Trump can help to CHANGE that. I HOPE so.
