Rousseff presided over the flame ceremony in Brasilia, even though she faces impeachment and is unlikely to be in office when South America’s first Olympics open in less than three months.
“Brazil is ready to host the most successful Olympics in history,” Rousseff said in a speech to off the torch relay, which will reach 329 Brazilian cities and end on August 5 at the opening ceremony in Rio’s Maracana stadium.

“Van den Driessche, the former European Under-23 champion, has denied suggestions she deliberately cheated, saying the bike was not hers.”
Pretty obvious from that frame size that she cheated. He bicycle looks tainted too.
The welded frame on a bike makes that impossible. You could torch it apart, but then you'd have scrap.
Too think Armstrong gave his left one for steroid cheating!

As I understand it, the motors have a vertical shaft with a helical gear that meshes with another gear around the pedal shaft.
Seems it would be relatively easy to insist on pedal assembly removal and inspection, along with inspection of the bore where the pedal shaft runs.
Unless those parts aren’t removable on professional bicycles...
They found the motor. Did they find all the batteries, too?
That was my thought.
Most of these bikes have carbon fiber frames.
